ATHENS

One of the oldest cities on Earth, Athens is a land of enchantment. A magnificent past woven with the threads of mythology and philosophy lingers within this cosmopolitan metropolis. Ancient temples and museums testify to the unrivaled history of this fabled place where Socrates strode, and Athena was worshiped. Stylish nightclubs, top-rated restaurants and excellent shops attest to the city’s status as a modern destination for the most sophisticated traveler. Above it all, the Parthenon crowns the Acropolis as it has for over two millennia, a most fitting symbol for the city where civilization was born.
